I recently stayed at a hostel in a peaceful location with a stunning surrounding area, perfect for walks of any level of expertise. The staff was extremely friendly and the communal bathrooms were beautifully fitted with real slate surrounds. The view from my room was lovely and I enjoyed the quiet nights with little traffic on the road. The fridges provided plenty of room and overall, it was a great experience.

    Would recommend this hotel.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfect, just down the road from a fantastic pub and very close to the breathtaking mountains of the Lake District. The staff are friendly and the basic amenities are convenient, including rooms for wet clothes and an enormous bed. The breakfast with scrambled egg is a delicious bonus.

All aspects of this hotel were just fine.

I recently stayed at a charming hostel in a quiet location with friendly staff. Despite my late arrival from Edinburgh, they were welcoming and helpful. The hostel's convenient location allowed me to explore the area easily by foot or car. The kitchen was well-equipped and offered complimentary milk, coffee, and more. I also appreciated the availability of free parking nearby during the night.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

They were helpful with any questions we had and even offered good advice for places to explore. the location is also very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. the kitchen facilities were well-stocked with complimentary items like milk and coffee, which added to our comfort.

Limited Amenities and Expensive Charges we were disappointed with the limited amenities provided at the hotel. the room was quite basic and lacking in some essential features, like towels and central heating.

Nestled in the scenic Lake District, this hostel is a welcome haven for trekkers. the charming village it's located in is perfect for exploring, featuring a pub just a stone's throw away from the hostel. With plenty of facilities like a drying room and well-kitted kitchen, you're sure to have a comfortable and affordable stay. Clean and cozy rooms as well as a delicious breakfast are only the icing on the cake.

While the free parking is limited, the beautiful surroundings easily make up for the minor inconvenience.
